Inside the system
Inside the CRM: Leads, Pipeline, Accounts and Reporting
A screen-by-screen look at the Automation System CRM as it stands today, and what each part is for.
Automation System · 7 min read

The CRM is the first live system in Automation System. It takes you from first lead to closed deal in one place, on a database you own. Here is what each screen does.
CRM home
The home screen is your quarter at a glance. Four numbers sit at the top: open pipeline, won revenue, win rate and progress against your target. Below them, Pipeline by Stage shows where your open deals are, Needs Attention flags anything overdue, and Closing Soon lists deals expected to close in the next 30 days.
Leads
Leads are incoming prospects. For each one you can see its status, source, owner, score, estimated value, next follow-up and when it was last contacted. A summary bar shows total leads, new leads and follow-ups due, so nothing slips.
Import leads in bulk from a CSV, or add them one at a time.
Qualify or disqualify a lead in one click from its detail panel.
Convert a qualified lead into an opportunity when it is ready.
Opportunities
Opportunities are the deals you are working. View them as a pipeline board or a list, and move each one through your stages to close. Each stage shows its count and total value, so you always know what is in play.
Contacts and accounts
Accounts are the companies you work with; contacts are the people at them. Both are searchable and filterable, and both link back to the leads and opportunities they belong to. That is what makes the CRM a system rather than a list.
Reporting
Reporting opens the Sales Command Center. It answers questions in order: how much (open pipeline, won revenue, average deal value, total leads), how well (qualified leads, lead to opportunity rate, win rate, average sales cycle), and where things stand (sales funnel and pipeline by stage).
Making it yours
Every screen above is a starting point. Rename fields, add stages, change what the dashboard shows or automate follow-ups by describing the change to Zite's AI app builder. Our YouTube walkthroughs explain how each part works, so you can change it with confidence.
